Valued for the money. I think it's an underrated fish and chips restaurant. One of my favourite in the area! They have a proper sitting area and music licence. Tasty food and very good prices! Highly recommended.
Freshly cooked seafood with nice dips. Service is warm and quick. Vibe is very homey and you can see customers are local which is a good sign.
The Best fish and chips in angel area! They always fry their chips and fishes in the fresh oil. Fishes' batter wass crispy and thin, fish was cooked well done. The most important thing was fish and chips weren't like sponge (it wasn't oily)
I’m so glad I stopped here! I had fish and chips and a meat pie left for my main English dishes I wanted to try, and this place popped up. I told the lady what I was looking for and she said she’d do the fish and chips and add what we meat pie I wanted. I asked for her suggestion and she said the minced meat and onion, and it sounded good to me. When the food came out, it looked amazing. The breading on the fish was light and crispy, and the fish was flaky and delicious. The chips (fries for my fellow Americans) were thick cut and crispy. The meat pie was my favorite. The way the bake it in the dough, and the perfect texture offset by the flavorful filling was just fantastic. I also ordered their baby squid as a recommended appetizer and it was meh. Not worth the price. Just chewy and flavorless. My main problem overall is the lack of seasoning. I think it’s a general English thing, but the food just doesn’t have seasoning on it. I was told later by a couple friends that you add your own salt and pepper to taste. I’m Hispanic and I’m used to the core 4 being in almost all dishes (aside from additional seasonings), onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. But the food was cooked to perfection and delicious (except the squid, not worth the cost). Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for meat pies or fish and chips!
I have been coming to this place for a long time. They serve some of the best fish and chips in London in my opinion! You can sit in, takeaway or get a delivery. The restaurant is lovely to sit in, though it can get very busy with coach tours and cab drivers. The staff are lovely, the food is really nice and the portions are generous. I visit regularly and I still love it though there has been some changes to the menu and some of my favourite dishes are no longer there. Would definitely recommend.
Visited as part of a coach trip. Considering how many of us there were, the food was lovely. Hot and a good size portion. Not at all greasy. Would highly recommend
I love everything about this place. I was looking specifically for GOOD fish and chips and I got GREAT fish and chips. The service was fantastic and the restaurant itself was super cute on the inside. This is definitely getting logged in the “go to” places for London. My husband loved the burger as well.
I’ve been coming to this Kennedy’s for a long time now 10 years plus and think it’s the best chips in London having sampled many different ones from all over. I visited today and was blown away by how nice the chips were, so potatoey and non greasy. They simply were delicious and I had to call them to tell them.
